The commercial

Custom-trained product imagery became source frames for Veo, contributing B-roll to the final RTD advertisement.

The product

A recognizable bottle.
An open-ended world.

For Club Kokomo Spirits, the creative opportunity was to place a real product inside an imagined scene—and have it still feel like the brand. The RTD cocktails and rum line each brought their own packaging, proportions, and visual character. Those details had to remain the anchor as the setting changed.

I trained custom FLUX LoRAs for both product lines and developed the generation workflow around them. A LoRA is a focused adaptation of an image model: it gives the model a learned product identity to work from, while leaving room to direct the light, composition, and environment.

The central creative constraint was recognition. A beautiful drinks image only serves a commercial when the product itself belongs in the frame.

The details carry
the identity.

Bottle silhouette. Label placement. The relationship between glass, liquid, and light.

Across the rum family, the shared design language holds the range together while each expression remains distinct. That balance is the visual standard behind the training work.

The supplied rum imagery establishes the packaging and visual character of the line.

The frame

The still image
sets the scene.

With the product learned, FLUX became the image-making stage of the pipeline. The creative task shifted to placement: where the product sits, how the light meets it, and what kind of moment surrounds it. The model supplied possibilities; direction gave those possibilities a purpose.

The still frame is also the handoff to motion. Product scale, composition, and atmosphere give Veo a visual starting point. Resolving those decisions in the image creates a clearer brief for the moving shot.

A visual vocabulary

Selected imagery from the supplied brand assets: material, light, and styling give each rum expression its own character.

The motion

From product image
to a moment in the edit.

The generated FLUX images became inputs for Veo, extending a composed product scene into B-roll. This connected model training to a practical production need: supporting shots that could sit inside a finished commercial.

The pipeline kept two creative decisions connected. FLUX established what the shot looked like; Veo introduced movement over time. The product remained the reason for the shot, with motion in service of its placement.

An early glimpse
of the possibility.

This auto-generated online ad came from early tests of the model. It captures the exploratory stage of the work: taking the product beyond an isolated image and into a short advertising format.

Presented here as an early experiment, alongside the commercial application of the image-to-video pipeline.

The work covered custom training for both the RTD and rum lines. The RTD campaign carried the workflow through to screen, with generated imagery used in multiple B-roll scenes in the final advertisement. My contribution was the trained product models and the image-to-video pipeline that made those placements possible.
